Andrea Zamboni

Ph.D Architect – Associate and Managing Director

Andrea Zamboni (M.Arch. UNIFE / Ph.D. UNIBO) studied at the Academy of Architecture in Mendrisio and at the Faculty of Architecture in Ferrara, where he graduated with Peter Zumthor and Vittorio Savi, then collaborating with the offices of Nicola Di Battista (Rome) and Guido Canali (Parma). While at Canali Associati he became project manager of the construction of contemporary art museum in Kyong Ki (South Korea). While attending the Ph.D program he was researching at the Faculty of Architecture "Aldo Rossi" in Cesena and teaching from 2013 as Adjunct Professor of Architectural Composition at the School of Architecture and Engineering, University of Bologna. In 2017 he obtained the national qualification as Associate Professor in Architectural Design. From 2013 to 2107 he was part of the Study Center of Domus magazine directed by Nicola Di Battista, mainly working on special projects and international network. He has been panelist at international conferences such as the Italian Design Day of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Indaba Summit of The European House Ambrosetti. He is part of the scientific council of the Master “Design of excellence for the historic city” of the Federico II University of Naples. He was a member of juries in international competitions and architecture awards, such as Europan and Gensler Design Excellence Awards (USA). Among many publications we mention the editorial curation of Domus GreenDomus Smart City and Domus Future African Cities supplements of Domus magazine.
